IPL / Photofacial

Intense Pulsed Light or IPL is a broad-band source of light that is used for photorejuvenation. It can help lighten sun spots, freckles, brown pigment associated with melasma, broken capillaries, and the diffuse facial redness of rosacea. Treatment areas may include the face, neck, chest, shoulders, and backs of the hands. No significant downtime is associated with IPL treatments. Brown spots may get slightly darker after each treatment, and these typically flake off over 7-10 days. Red blood vessels tend to slowly fade after each session. For best results, a series of 3-6 IPL treatments is often recommended. For your comfort, topical numbing cream can be applied before your procedure.
