A 46 year-old female presented with a few month history of a persistent “pimple” on her right upper forehead. A skin biopsy revealed basal cell carcinoma skin cancer. This was successfully removed using Mohs micrographic surgery in 1 stage. Facial plastic surgery was used to repair the surgical wound in a very fine line that after 6 weeks has faded to become nearly invisible (right photo). The patient used our DNA repair scar cream to accelerate wound healing and enhance her cosmetic result.
